I just took my auditing exam after studying for two months with Becker. It seemed VERY different and I was very disappointed. I mean, you spend a ton of money, study your butt off and the exam is unfamiliar to a large degree. I believe I have a descent chance of passing but I’m still really dissatisfied with this.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't feel this way at all with AUD, although from what I heard I might feel this way with BEC.

Well I hear a lot of people feel like they did poorly after taking the exam. Especially Audit.

I am using Becker Self Study and my exam is next week? How did you study the last week and what was so different about it?

Actually I just took mine 2 days ago also and found it very difficult. I had taken it a month ago and got a 74, and this was my retake, but it was very different than my previous exam. Pretty sure I failed because it was way too detailed, although I thought I practice well for it. My testlets were medium – hard – hard.

The SIMs were really easy though. Let's pray for a 75..but I don't see that anywhere in sight 🙁

These exams are specifically designed to make you feel like you've failed. I was sure I failed FAR and REG, and passed both with flying colors. And I'm not that kind of guy who always says I failed an exam. Just relax and wait for your score. You never know.

Thanks for the encouragement jopa16. It's nice to see there were others who felt the same way…cuz I really did study my butt off for this and was really disappointed to see a lot of detailed questions that weren't in Wiley or CPAreviewforfree.

I took AUD yesterday and honestly, I felt it was about what I expected from using Becker. A lot of questions were similar to the Becker MCQs. My testlets also went Medium – Hard – Hard.

If you don't know then heres a good feeling:

If you get a lot right on the first test let, you get harder one on the second. If you do good on the second, you get a hard one for the third.

More than likely, you passed.

I just took the audit exam today- I scored a 73 on my first attempt and on this retake like the last exam I felt the questions were really detailed and were not focused on in my study materials I could narrow choices down to two, but the MCQ's were way tough- I studied my butt off, I had medium Hard medium and the sims were more manageable this time, I hope I passed
