I sooo feel your pain!!!! My situation for REG is exactly likes yours.

On the MCq's i was strong on every single topic accept federal securities. On the SIM's i have been weak every time… Drives me nuts!

But listen I passed AUD on my fifth attempt so don't feel upset. People who are persistant do pass. Just keep studying, getting stronger until you know the material like the back of your hand. After getting 61, 69, 70 and 72 I finally murdered AUD with a 89. So it can be done.

Reg I promise to murder you In Jan/Feb 2014…. right now I have the daggers out for FAR 🙂

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

Imagine seeing Stronger on all of them and still getting a 73. I would dig it out to show you, but I stuck with it and the only number that counts is the license number, so it's in the pile to be blown up! Just waiting on permission from the Fire Chief to put on a CPA fireworks show!

There is a test disclosure in your header. You are letting us know that the CPA exams are filled with (BS) Balance Sheet problems right?

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

That is so horrible…I'm sorry! The SIMS are killing you. AICPA will never let you win unless you tighten up on SIMS. Trust me, I know from experience! The Wiley Audit textbook was the best thing that ever happened to me for that section. If you go through that boring, dry, crappy newspaper print text and do every MCQ and SIM+notes…you will pass. That's how I finally killed the beast.

In terms of your mental/emotional well being right now, you need to take time off and work through all that anger and disappointment. Been there, done that too. It's OK to be angry, upset, disappointed etc. but do not give up on yourself yet. You had a great score on FAR and were 4th and inches on BEC and Audit…clearly you've got what it takes!!!

Take a break from study and when you are ready get back on that study wagon! Don't let your FAR score die on the vine!!!!

    You CAN do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    REG: 75 DONE 🙂
    AUD: 61, 71, 68, 92 DONE 🙂
    BEC: 76 DONE 🙂
    FAR: 72, 74, 79 DONE 🙂
    Licensed Michigan CPA 🙂

I agree with Kricket. The only number that counts is the license number.

I know how you feel. https://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/856/hj7m.jpg/

    REG - 72, 72, 81
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 74 "so that's what it feels like." Round 2: 79

Passing the exam is not impossible task. GIVING UP is the only way YOU can make it impossible!

Texas hasn't validated scores yet, so I'm looking at getting the results from my second attempt at Audit on Monday. (Texas usually sends out emails to exam candidates the morning of the business day following NASBA's release.) Your results are freaking me out… I'm praying for you, buddy. And I'm praying for me, too! I hope you don't give up.

    BEC - 79, 75 DONE!!!
    AUD - 70,70, 74, 74, 78
    REG - 83
    FAR - 79

This really sucks 🙁 honestly I think these comparable reports are B.S.! They are not explaining much and if anything, they just confuse us!

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14
