Are you able to spring for the ninja MCQ? It's quite reasonable at $47.

I'm taking AUD on the 31st and only started studying a couple days ago. Already through over half of the MCQ, going to determine what my weak points are.

Just try to note the difference between scenarios, and I think you'll do fine.

Get to the point where you can describe what an audit would look like from beginning to end. Understand the assertions and the relevant tests. Know the difference between an audit, review, compilation, etc. Last of all, be sure you can differentiate between the different types of audit report. Be familiar with how the language changes between qualified opinions/unqualified opinions/disclaimers/adverse opinions. My biggest piece of advice is don't skip sections, and that applies to every test. If it's in your review course, it's been on the exam at some point.

Read book, watch videos, take notes then do some (60) mcq that pertain to the chapter you just completed. Do this for each chapter. Once all chapters completed, review your notes and mnemonics and complete all the mcq with some tbs mixed in. Go over the AICPA released questions and do the AICPA practice test on their website. Buy the Ninja AUD MCQ for $47. It is worth it. Do 1-2 practice exams 1-1.5 week prior to test date. Know the various reports and why you add in emphasis of matter/other matter paragraphs. Differences between Preps, Comps, Reviews, Audits, Agreed upon procedures, forecast/projections. I use Roger review and supplement ninja mcq.

If you work full time then study 3 hours minimum a weekday. Do 10 hour min for Sat & Sun combined.

2 months is a long time. I'd shoot for 6 weeks if you can.

Audit was my least favorite but only because the first time I compeltely underestimated Audit and the 2nd time I missed it by 1 point. With Audit I think they key is to make sure you do not spend time memorizing too much and really make sure you understand the concepts/theory behind Audit. Once you get this down, it will really help in your understanding when you do questions. My first time taking it, I literally had everything memorized but don't think I could truly tell you what any of it meant. I hit multiple choice questions hard for Audit and I did them so many times that there seemed to be a lot of overlap between my 3rd and final exam and practice questions. Pay attention to wording in Audit. This is the one exam in my experience where one word can change the entire meaning of the question being asked.
