Hi everyone, can someone please tell me what the sims on AUD are like? I’ve been studying for this section using Rogers/Wiley and the practice sims are all either ‘click the circle that corresponds to the answer’, ‘correct/incorrect’, and stuff like that. Are there any sims where you would physically have to type things in, such as on the FAR section where you would need to do journal entries? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't disclose too much, but most of my sims were “Choose from the following options.” There were some very, very easy fill in the blanks, but not much. Obviously this will differ from person to person, though.

Research … some felt straight out of FAR. If you know the material for the MCQ, you should do fine on the SIMS.

Take the AICPA practice exam. It's free and very close to the exam. It is 5 MCQ and a few sims ( I can't recall)

@avenger – i dont' think that can be answered without disclosing the nature of the exam.

The released AICPA MCQ's from 2013 and 2012 also have some SIMS you can take a look at.
