Hi,

In regards to the new CPA exam being released, I’ve heard a lot of people tell me that AUD had 8 simulations when my Becker book says there will be 9 sims. How many sims did you have when you took it this quarter?

Also, what topics were hardest for everyone when they took the exam? I assume audit simulations would be easier than FAR or REG.

It's 8 simulation. Not sure where Becker are getting their info from.

I just took it last week and there were 8 SIMs.

In one of the lectures, Tim G talks about spending 2 weeks with the AICPA in order for Becker to develop their study material. I went straight from studying REG to AUD, so I don't remember which section it is in. Since I haven't gotten to Chapters 4-6 in AUD, I'll say it's not in those.

There were only 8 simulations which were pretty lengthy and I would suggest you know your journal entries..good luck!
