So I just took the Audit exam today (4/11/2016). I studied about 30 hours for the exam. I know I am very lazy. I did not study at all until last Saturday. I ended up just finishing reading the Becker book and completing a set of MCQ (60 questions) and 4 set of simulations. I know!!!! I was super frustrated and anxious because I thought I could have gone through at least half of all the Becker practice questions.

I just hate my laziness and over-confidence. I always overestimate my capability. (Someone should audit me!!!!! Please issue an audit report of me!!!!)

    So my exam experience:

I could not tell the difficulty level of each set of questions. I felt like that they were very similar in terms of the difficulty level and contents tested. I felt like I was 70% sure on all the questions overall. For the questions I have doubts on, I could always eliminate 2 answers. But it’s still very tough choice. I am a little worried about my multiple questions because I did not do practice questions at all.

However, I felt the same thing about the BEC exam. I couldn’t tell the difficulty difference at all. They were all similar to me. And I passed the BEC with a score of 93 under a day’s preparation.

I feel good about my simulation questions. I had two research questions. I could easily identify the answer. Other questions I am 90% sure.

So do you guys think I can pass? I am torn. I felt like I did well on the exam but was not so confident about my performance at the same time. I just wish I had studied for one more day so I could be 100% sure at this time.

Keep my fingers crossed. Hope to pass FAR within a week!!!!!! and another week for Reg!!!!! I know I am overestimating my capability and underestimating my laziness. I just want to get them off my plate.

Also please excuse my English. Also I love Brandon Flowers. Please share your thoughts.

With that God's given talent you should pursue a medical degree and save many lives! 🙂 I do have a family friend who is a CPA turned doctor. Be more crazy if you also hold a JD. Are you even human??

@ Martin, I am from China. I guess I always like to deal with number and such. I love math when I was young. I still remember how my elementary teacher was amazed by my ability to solve complex math problems. When I applied to college, my family wanted me to do something practical so I chose Finance. I still somewhat regret that I did not have a profound study in math in college. Now I just feel like I am dumb. I can never pursue a medical degree since I am afraid of all body parts/organs and such. However, I am super into Nutrition study. I have a tons of book about nutrition.

Spartans92, If I had his talent, I would have gone to medical school, which is the toughest career in the US. I have a friend who graduated from a tier 1 university with a 3.7, and took the Mcats I don't know how many times and couldn't get a passing score. Then he decided to go to law school, so he studied for the entrance exam for 1 month and passed.

royalhat402, Im glad you live in the US now, we need people like you. I know Trump does not like foreigners, but if I were president, I would make it a priority to import brains from all over the world. This is how we always keep a competitive edge.

@royal, I should have guessed you were Chinese. Not trying to stereotype but Chinese are so DARN Smart at least most I know. Their upbringings and hardworking culture is what I admire. Of course this doesn't hold true for all but a very generic statement.

Hey guys, I passed audit with a score of 80. I am content with the score since I did not put much efforts into it. I'll see how I did on my FAR exam soon.
