I had my audit rematch today and my testlets went moderate – hard – moderate. I know it also depends how you did on the SIMS, but have you all had these levels of difficulty on your mcqs and wound up passing? What was your score?

To be honest, I don't think anybody can answer your question. While taking the CPA exam, I found difficulty very subjective. I tried the AICPA released questions which they had grouped by difficulty, and sometimes I could not answer moderate questions, on the other hand, some hard questions appear too easy.

When I took AUD, I felt like the difficulty stayed the same the whole test, which the AICPA scale will probably disagree.

One hard testlet is all you need to be in the 75-80 range (and you can pass even without a hard testlet if you perform almost excellent in all 3, I hear). Of course the medium and hard testlets all have difficult questions but it's the amount that varies.

I'm sure your chances are good, if you also gave your best in the SIMS

Interesting question. I think I got moderate/moderate/hard on AUD, but I'm not totally sure about the third one. I think my sims are probably what pulled me through. I tend to do way better on practical application than MCQs in school, too.

I wasn't doing very well on my WTB MCQs the few days before the test, and it was really doing a number on my confidence, so I stopped doing those and focused on memorizing certain factoids.

I hope your test went well! Now comes the waiting. Hang in there!

I think I got a moderate-hard-moderate as well, but for all I know they were all moderate, or the next two were hard, etc. There were questions in each testlet where I know I got it right, and there were others I was like WTF. The Sims were a different story. I won't know until February. So here is hoping.
