Obviously I can’t give details on the test that I took but I’m beyond furious and just want to vent.

I had a question that basically said pick the true statement. I wrote down all four answers cause I wanted to remember question to look up after the test. Low and behold 8 questions later I had the exact same question except pick the false statement. EXACT SAME QUESTION.

Now my issue is on the first question answer choices A and B were also answer choices A and B for the second question. SO naturally I got really excited because to me it meant the answer to one question was A and the other one was B. But on the second question I would bet my life that the correct answer was C. It was very obvious and I have since verified that C was correct. So to me in my small brain that means A and B are true so they are both correct on the first question. Now I know most of you are thinking well this is audit and a lot of qustions are pick the best answer. But this wasn’t a best answer kind of question. It wasn’t like picking the best procedure kind of question. It was black or white. Frustrated me so much. Never been so mad taking one of these tests.

I feel your pain (we all do). AUD was my first section, too. I studied Gleim for about a year, on and off. Thought I was done studying, then found a few Becker sample flash cards and saw that I was nowhere near the level I needed to be. Studied for most of another year all the materials from start to finish again, really getting to know the materials extremely well, and memorizing anything and everything. Scored consistently in the 90s on my MCQs. I knew it inside and out.

I walked in to the test nervous but confident. I walked out enraged. I did the math on what I felt was the worst case scenario while testing and felt like it was enough, but the more time passed, the more I was sure I failed. I wanted to kill someone.

I guess that's what everyone says about adaptive testing – that if you think you did poorly, you probably did well, and vice versa. I felt pretty decent about BEC (compared to the other two), so that has me worried.
