Just took audit this morning and am a bit nervous… I thought MC went well and I’d like to say they got harder but cannot say for certain. For those of you who took Audit do you blatantly remember the questions getting harder??? Also, the SIMS were tough but fair for the most part except for one which Becker did not even cover much at all in my opinion. One last thing.. for the SIMS I heard that one doesn’t actually count and so therefore would only 6 (including the research question) count for the 40% SIMS make up of the grade??

My test, definitely went medium, hard, hard. When I left, there was no question in my mind.

One SIM is a “pretest” question. The AICPA is e allaying the question for possible use in the future. As such, it doesn't affect your score at all. Unfortunately there is no way to know what the pretest questions are (and each MCQ testlet contained 5 of these).

@am04myer I felt like the questions got a little harder as I went on and maybe a little more tricky but that is the only exam I walked out of knowing I did better than a 75. IDK about the grading of the System for the SIMs though. I have heard that one of the questions Is a “test question” and is not graded.

In my experience, the questions really didn't get harder at all. I felt that all 3 of my testlets were medium in difficulty and that the Simulations, while not easy, weren't too painful. I definitely took the testlets not getting any harder as a sign that I didn't pass, but when I got my score back, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that I passed.

I am 100% positive I had medium-hard-hard. Sims weren't really impossible. I know I didn't get everyone 100% correct but I sure am positive I scored at least 50% minimum on the ones I'm unsure of and blew 2-3 out of the water (AL).
