I’d been anxiously waiting all weekend for my score and found out last night at 2 am that I got a 74 on AUD…for the second time in a row. What are the chances of that, anyway?

I couldn’t go back to sleep, was sick to my stomach, and I’m just dwelling on it. I feel so upset especially because I gave it my all and really thought I passed this time. I poured so much time and sacrifice and dedication into this exam the second time around and that 74 feels like a huge punch in the gut.

I know I’m early in my CPA journey and only have FAR passed but I almost want to give up. Anyone else get multiple 74s in a row? I could really use some support from this lovely group. Thanks!

When you were using Becker, were you scoring pretty well on the questions? The ninja MCQ does have a lot of repeat questions from Becker. However, it also has questions that are not in Becker. It's not really expensive so it's not going to hurt you to get a few additional questions. I would recommend it just to change things up for yourself. When I was doing Becker, I remember that there were certain topics that the MCQs didn't really touch up on so that's why the flashcards were useful so I was forced to know those areas too. I always tell myself… if I can pass FAR, I can pass the other exams so you obviously have a great shot!

That's what I kept telling myself too – that was quite a feat for me!

And I was scoring pretty well, somewhere between the 70%-80% range. On my progress tests I was in the 90s. But that could be due to the fact that I was starting to memorize the answers to questions. So next time around maybe I'll invest in the NINJA MCQs. I think I'm going to retake either at the end of February or try after busy season, I haven't decided yet.
