    I NEED HELP..

My exam is in 2 weeks and I only finished up to chapter 3. I don’t work so I do have the 2 weeks off.

Should I work on the AICPA RELEASED QUESTIONS for Audit?

Lastly, should I do the optional questions for BECKER?

    Thanks in advance

Audit is all memorization. Some things make practical sense and others don't. I didn't use Becker for lectures so I can't say what I'd do with them specifically. But I'd do all of the lectures as fast as possible and then hammer MCQ until your eyes bleed.

From your FAR score, I would assume that that will help you a lot, especially in the sims. On my first two takes of audit, I hadn't even touched FAR, got into it a little bit, and then audit came together.

I'm sure you know this already, but just be really careful when reading the questions in audit, they can be really tricky. One word that you may glance over while reading fast could totally change the answer.

    Thank you so much. Mitch!

It seems like you really killed Audit the third time haha.

I guess I'll practice the audit questions until my eyes bleed.

Any other suggestions are always welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

agree with Mitch- ditch the videos and just start doing MCQ's until your head wants to explode… I found the hardest / biggest part of AUD was knowing what they were looking for in a question / knowing why one answer was better than all of the rest because usually three would be technically “correct” but one was “better”… the only way to master that is to practice it. Good luck!!!

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

    Agree with ditching the videos.
I would do the optional questions too – really helps for some of the concepts.
Becker tends to have lots of questions in their MCQs that aren't covered completely in the text. So doing as many different MCQs and learning from them helps a lot.

Here is what Jeff suggests if you're down to your last 3ish weeks.

    REG: 80 (02/19/16)
    AUD: 83 (04/11/16)
    BEC: 78 (05/28/16)
    FAR: ?

I concur. Videos are for audit aren't very helpful. Just keep writing out those notes and memorize everything. Though, do try and understand assertions/evidence.

    -

    BEC 80 (10/23/15)
    FAR 72 (4/2/15); 83 (7/11/16)
    REG 52 (4/28/15)
    AUD (9/9/16)
