So I took Audit today and it was definitely…something.
My first testlet wasn’t too bad. There were about 6 that I decided to save for the end to reread them a little more carefully and I feel like I did at least alright on them. The second testlet felt harder, but I wasn’t sure if it was because I didn’t recognize a good amount of the questions or if it was a harder testlet. I definitely marked off a few more than the first testlet to save for the end.
The third testlet on the other hand was definitively much more difficult than the first two. It felt just as bad, if not worse than Becker’s second final exam. At least half of the questions I came out feeling like I really wasn’t sure if I got them right or not.
Sims obviously are more difficult to figure out, but for multiple choice, just how many is too many to look at and be unsure of? I feel like the last testlet could be the deciding factor for me yet it was REALLY difficult for me. I know people say that’s a good sign an increase in difficulty, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I got 10 wrong on that testlet.
So how many questions is too many to be unsure of on a hard testlet before the boost of getting hard questions doesn’t matter anymore in your opinions? I’ve seen people saying they only marked off like 6 or 7 questions when they had harder testlets so this worries me a bit having such confusing questions on the last testlet.
