What did you do differently to go from failing to a passing grade? What study materials did you use? Did you do practice finals through your review program? How did you do on your practice finals?

I reviewed what a did less than comparable on in depth. I also changed my study habits and reviewed all of the topics in more detail. I did well on the simulations both times from using the authoritative literature tab and I really focused on improving my multiple choice answers by studying a lot of questions in the Wiley test bank. Personally I did bad on the special reports section of the test the first time, so I really focused on getting all of those right the next time I took the test. It worked! +11 points the second time I took the test.

I personally read alot more. I didn't really read the first time I took the exam. I also used wiley test bank and worked as many questions as I could. I tried to read into why I got questions wrong more instead of just getting mad and moving on. As you can see, it improved my score by 14 points. I did okay on the mc the first time but the sims just killed me…the reading helped me get over the hump and pass. Just keep plugging away, you will pass!

I hope I did well. My exam was on the 20th of August. This wait for score release is killing me slowly. I can barely concentrate on anything else except thinking about getting a passing score. I listened to all the Becker AUD lectures. Did the homework and Sims. Ran the progress tests on it. Then I used WTB to practice and took the final practice exam 4 different times. Average on it in the low 70s. I listened to ninja audio, read the ninja notes. But having to work full time and only several weeks to prepare I can only do so much. I study till 1 am sometimes and when I do go to sleep my head is spinning with information causing me to not be able to fall asleep till 4am. And I wake up at 7 for work.

CPAorNOT- Audit is a tough section and hopefully you passed. Try not to let it keep you up at night; losing sleep can play tricks on your mind and kill your confidence. The worst that will happen is that you have to retake it in the next window.

I was in the same situation in May; I rushed to take my audit test before the standards changed and ended up with a 69. I was pretty sure I did not pass, but began studying for BEC anyway. That way, I was well into the BEC material by the time the scores were released and I wouldn't be so depressed by not passing. Looking back, there is a part of me that is glad I did not pass. I have learned a lot more about myself and my study habits by re-taking a section.

i failed AUD 4 time before finally passing. i got a new review course (Roger cram), finally learned how to use the Authoritative Literature on the SIMS, and listened to the NINJA audio over and over and over on my commute. Other than that, you need to knock out a buttload of multiple choice questions. i went up 14 points from my highest failing score. Stick with it!

AUD - EPIC FAIL, 71, 69; 68; 5/25/2013 - PASSED (85)!
REG - 10/1/2012 - 72; 7/1/2013 - 73 UGH, 10/1/2013 - PASSED (85)!
BEC - 2/28/2013 - PASSED (82)!

Used Becker self-study materials (just this for FAR original & REG #1), WileyTestBank, NINJA notes/audio, and Roger cram course for AUD #5, REG #3 & FAR reboot. CPA!

Once you're scoring high consistently, reread the book and be familiar with everything.

Jumped from a 65 to 91 with just those methods. Probably did close to 1500 MCQs non related to mandatory HW lecture questions.

I went from a 70 to 84 (Feb to April). I typed up all my notes by chapters (Roger) then did all of the MCQ in the Wiley book and incorporated all those answers into my notes. I did all the Wiley TestBank questions the same way. My friend let me in her Becker account and I did a few of those questions as well.

This way helped me learn by trying to search for the appropriate place to put the answers, then seeing if I already had it in there or figuring out how to best add it. I would have to read through most of the information multiple times. Then I just did MCQ over and over on the TestBank.
