yxh8730ParticipantI just finished my auditing exam today in 3 hours. I feel I did good on the multiple choices part because I can tell why the other three choices are wrong for most of the questions and I flag 12 questions, but I didn’t see the difficulty changed.Sims were fairly hard and I needed to take some guesses. I read people saying they felt good but ended up failing and that drives me crazy, Is that common for people who took auditing before?

AnonymousInactiveTook me about 2 and a half hours for Audit. By comparison FAR took me, exactly, 3 hours.
I'll know in a week if that was a good or bad thing for Audit but I truly felt that I either knew the answer or I had to make an educated guess. There was only one question that I had to, flat out, guess on. Then I had about 5 or 6 where I was able to whittle it down between 2 choices.

ohmyMemberI just finished my auditing exam a half hour ago and I can relate to the original poster, except I felt like I did horrible on all of it. Some MCQ's I found were easy and some I had to guess between two answers. I flagged about 16 in total. I did not feel my testlets became more difficult and I know I bombed the SIMS, and I had two research questions, one I absolutely did not know. I gave just as much effort if not more to this exam as I did when I took FAR and REG, both of which I passed the first time. I am very discouraged, disgusted, disappointed and humiliated. I feel like garbage. I apologize for going on about it. Best of luck to everyone.
FAR – 80
REG – 78
AUD – Awaiting score
BEC – January 2015

JamesBJamesParticipantI used 3.5 hours on AUD, but I can definitely see how people can finish in less time. Can you believe AUD used to be 4.5 hours long? They should cut a little more time off AUD and add it to REG, IMO.
Here's hoping you passed, @yxh. When I took AUD, I didn't really think the latter two testlets were THAT much harder — the questions were generally longer, though. I also remember my third testlet had a ton of questions with “except for,” “is not,” etc. clauses, but IIRC I flagged around the same amount on all three sets of questions. Maybe like 1-2 more on average on the later testlets.
I'm not sure what causes people to completely mispredict their AUD scores relative to the other sections. There are a lot of people who think they destroy the exam only to get some score in the 60s, and there are a lot of people who think they fail and then pull something out in the 90s. I feel like — well, at least the former — doesn't happen as often on BEC, FAR, and REG.
Hopefully, as long as you carefully read all the other choices, it sounds like you're in good shape.

I read , read the mcq twice to make sure i dont miss inbetween words. I got 74 on my first attempt when i thought i would land in 90's. I did not want to take any chance this time. now praying for that 75……..

JMORMemberI took AUD last week and I was also surprised at how fast I went through the MCQ's. I finished the MCQ's in 90 minutes and had the sims done in another 90 minutes and then took some time to go back over the sims. I think they need to add time to REG, I used just about every minute available for it. We will see how AUD went for me in a week or so.
