Anyone take AUD, and feel unsure like they second guessed themselves? I feel like I let the test trick me on things…hoping and praying for the best.

yea, thats pretty normal for all the exams. especially AUD.

multiple correct answers to every question, but ONE is MORE correct.
    good times

Ugh, yes I am feeling unsure. And I was getting 80s and 90s on my Becker Practice tests. Now I am second guessing my confidence going into it…

    Thanks you too!

I am feeling the same way. Just took Aud on 1/12….and I am a reck. Don't really know what to expect. Trying to keep positive. And so should everyone else….

That's the worst part about the CPA exam. I felt horrible after every exam.

I just retook AUD on 2/03. Started out feeling good but it got harder.
Also took BEC on 1/29 and that one was really brutal.
But like you, I never never felt good about any of them.
Now to wait for 2/23 score release… ugh

AUD is the exam that's completely making me question whether or not I can actually pass the CPA. First time taking it, I felt super confident – failed with a 69. Second time taking it, felt really bad – failed with a 68. Third time taking, felt somewhere in between my first two exams – still waiting on score for this one. I used Becker to prep for the first two times, but something obviously wasn't clicking for me in Audit using Becker. I supplemented with Surgent CPA, Becker Final Review and Ninja MCQ for my last retake and really hoping those were enough to get me over the hump. Was trending 90% on Ninja MCQ and averaging around 85%. I never felt more prepared for AUD, so I really don't know how to study if I fail again…

@Roseann, I don't think there is going to be a 2/23 score release. You'll have to wait until March 8.

Oh thank you! Roger CPA listed that release date awhile ago, but guess they were being optimistic! I see on AICPA now that there are score holds so as you say, exams taken by 2/28, scores are 3/08 and exams taken by March 10 scores are March 20th.
I guess with so many upcoming changes to the exam, scores are going to be pretty slow for awhile now. Ugh

That is honestly how I felt after every single exam. My best advice is to not second guess yourself at all during the exam, flagging a ton of questions and going back and changing answers I don't think works out very well. If you don't know it, give it your best guess and move on. You just have to trust that you put in the time and effort and your instincts on the correct answer are correct. Good luck!

Really glad that others felt this way too. Makes me feel so much better. I took Audit on 2/1 and during the exam I didn't feel like it was that bad, by no means easy, but not to the point where I wanted to rip my hair out like FAR and REG. After the exam and as the day went I was like did I actually know the material on the exam or did I 100% just guess on pretty much that entire exam. Even though I know there were at least a handful of answers that I did for sure get right.
