Hello Everyone,

I am in the unfortunate position of having to retake both FAR an AUD due to the fact my scores expired.

I’m devastated about having to retake FAR but that’s for another thread. As of right now I’m just focusing on AUD.

I am scheduled to retake AUD on August 5th. I passed AUD in June 2015 with a score of 81. I am restudying using Becker first and then depending on my confidence level may invest in Ninja as well because the extra Ninja guidance help me pass REG.

Has anyone had the chance to take both the old AUD exam and the new AUD exam for comparison? What should I focus in on that maybe wasn’t an issue with the old AUD exam? Is it just the sims that changed and the MCs not so much? That’s the vibe I’m picking up from studying so far.

Of course I am starting from scratch and going through each chapter and all the questions as if I never took it before (currently halfway through Chapter 2) but after losing two parts I am losing confidence in my abilities. I could really use some guidance to ease my nerves a bit.

I'll let you know. I'm taking AUD tomorrow. Passed with an 80 back in 2011. Similar to you, I'm pretty much starting over. Passed FAR, REG, and AUD, then waited too long to take BEC and didn't pass. All my scores eventually fell like dominoes.

There isn't a ton of information out there around changes. I'm currently using the Gleim 2017 test bank. Not sure how helpful it's going to be, considering they only get retired questions, and everything (maybe) is new this year. Plus I hear that there are less MCQs, which is pretty much all that is in my test bank.

Done. I can tell you that it's not terribly different than back in the day. I think they just replaced some multiple choice questions with more task-based stuff (which I think is public knowledge). I got a little angry with my last testlet. Again, can't get into too much detail, but seemed like it was giving me multiple fields to add what seemed to be the same answer. Can't say more than that without getting banned.
