I took AUD a few months ago and failed miserably . Got a 53. I went back to the drawing board , became a lot more comfortable with the material , went through all the multiple choice and simulations Becker had , plus a few I pulled off the internet , did much better in practice , I was comfortable with the selections I made on the actual exam only to get 3 points higher the second time around . I could be wrong , but its hard for me to believe that all that study translated into only 3 more points? I could have walked in off the street blind and got that . I don’t understand what’s wrong , and I’m not following/identifying where the weaknesses are . I imagine there must be some subjectivity in the scoring process but this is hard to believe.

I don't know anything about Becker, but I would highly recommend adding the Ninja Notes and Audio to your study efforts. It helps summarize the necessary information so that you can use your Becker materials to expand upon the summary. I also suggest the Wiley Test Bank. Make sure you are getting the concepts and not just memorizing the multiple choice. I have read on this forum that is a big problem for a lot of people. Getting the questions right makes you think you understand, but really you are just memorizing. I hope this helps. Don't get discouraged. If you look at a lot of the signatures on here you will see that AUD has been tricky for a lot of people and many have had to take the test multiple times. I had to take it twice myself. I added the things I mentioned above and it helped raise my score significantly. Good luck.

If Becker isn't treating you well, change it up. Wiley + Wiley Test Bank worked out very well for me.

    FAR - 71, 94
    BEC - 91
    REG - 51, 88
    AUD - 89

Hey this post isn't mean't to come off offensive, its the blatant truth.

Anything below a 60 is a horrible score. i can assure you 3 things without even knowing anything about your individual experience. Firstly, there is nothing wrong with Becker. The program is excellent IF utilized properly. Secondly, You didn't study the right way. You need to take diligent notes. You need a better plan and approach. Thirdly, you didn't study enough. Some people study full-time for this exam without a job. You need to allot enough time to studying before taking an exam. If you want, describe your study approach and I'll help you critique it. The best advice I can give you is DO NOT buy additional products UNTIL learning how to properly use Becker.

I think we need some additional info to help, @OP! How many weeks did you allow yourself to prepare? Are you taking notes on your incorrect responses? Did you watch all of your lectures? Are you working full time? How many MCQs/SIMS did you get through? Tell us more about your study strategy!

Thanks for the replies and advice . Yes I work full time . Typically I put in about 6 weeks , 3 hours a night , 8 on Saturday. I went through the lectures as well . did all the MCQ's and SIMS. some of the SIMS I was weak on but getting familiar. .I felt good on the multiple choice portion . There were 7 pages of SIMS. Two of them were spot on , one was a straight guess, I'd never even seen anything like it and the other four were a mixture of right and wrong , but I think you get partial credit. My contract at work is ending next month . Im thinking of just taking a few months and dedicating myself to completing it . Thanks again for your advice.

You need to determine whether or not the AUD exam is a significant deficiency or a material weakness. See what I did there?
