Just retook AUD on the 2nd. I’m a little worried about it, I felt like I knew a lot but not as much as I wanted to. First testlet went very quickly, the second was much harder, and the third stayed as hard as the second. Any similar experiences? Predictions?

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

I just took AUD on July 1. It was my third time taking it but has been 3 years since the last time I attempted it. I am having anxiety over how I did. The testlets went about the way you described. First one was the easiest and the other two were pretty similar and both a little harder than the first. I was fairly confident though going into simulations and then I had two simulations I wasn't confident in at all. I am hoping I did well enough on everything else to counteract how bad I might have done on the sims. Derivatives was one of the subject matters and I was just not prepared for that at all.

    Good luck! Hope you passed!

It went medium-hard-medium for me. It is like I knew the topic of the question but not well enough to feel good about my answer. The hard questions were wordy and I was a little hungry and tired on that one…

I also retook Audit on the 2nd. I made a 65 on the first go 'round and was really upset. After thinking about it for a while, I was nowhere near being fully prepared for that exam. It was my first exam and so I wasn't sure the amount of effort I needed to put forward. I intensified my studying for REG, my second exam, and it paid off. So I knew that I wanted/needed to go all out for Audit because I knew going in that this would be my toughest exam. I essentially wrote the entire book out in my notes.

I thought my testlets went medium-hard-hard/medium. The second and third testlets were definitely more wordier than the first. I think it took me maybe 10 minutes to do my first run through of the first testlet. After a thorough review, I ended up moving on after about twenty minutes. After that, I fully expected the second and third testlets to be harder, and they were, so I guess that's good.

I was actually surprised about my simulations. I did not think they were as complicated as my first exam. Now, they could've been actually easier or they could've seemed easier since I was more prepared. I was able to use the code for some of the sims, which was helpful.

Overall, I'm not sure how I did. I walked out of REG knowing that I passed but I didn't have that feeling on the 2nd. I just hope and pray that all my hard work will pay off! Good luck to y'all!

If you went through the first testlet pretty quickly you probably knew the information. I got through my first audit testlet in 15 minutes. So nothing to worry about. You should have a passing score coming your way. Good luck.
