It seems that folks are doing great in AUD this window as I have seen fewer vents on AUD. Last quarter AUD was brutal as touched too much on my weaker area like risk etc and didn’t cover the Audit sampling which is strong area.Wondering why Q4 has always lowest passing rate.feel free to share your AUD exam experience.

@Nath, the SIMS were much more difficult and I had a DRS which I had not had the first time. It wasn't more difficult than the other SIMS but it did take me quite a bit of time to complete, there were a lot of tasks to do and to analyze. The SIMS i had this time seemed to be more “analyze this and give your best answer” than the first time SIMS which were more calculation type, which I like to do. I had no problem with the research on either exam, and I did that first because I knew it was not complicated. I could not use the AL as much the second time around as I did the first time either.

DRS are not necessarily harder it's just time consuming. Not having dual screen is such a pain n makes it so easy to make a mistake since you have to go back and forth from one document to another. I pray my exam does not have one.

GitRDone2017 thank you.Regarding SIMs please let me know if that situation which were asking to analyze ,could you link to Audit or Review standards or it was not clearly belongs to one audit standard e.g.AU-C 200 or AUC-200 and AUC 250 like that ?

Nath: I really don't have any great tips for FAR. I was too lazy to read the books or listen to any lectures. I just did the multiple choice questions over and over until I got the concept. I would suggest taking notes. lol I didn't cuz I really don't read my notes but I think it would've helped me shorten my study time for FAR. Make sure you spend adequate time on government accounting. I studied government and nonprofit 2 weeks before the exam. I didn't want to mix GAAP with government accounting so I studied F1 to f7 until I understood it and than I studied governmental and nonprofit.
