Just curious. Does anyone have any input as to whether the CPA exam materials explain the information better than the materials used in undergrad accounting?

Depending on the program, I've had teachers that taught to the test because they were preparing their students for the CPA exam. However, you will get much more detail in undergrad accounting than you will need for the test. I would stick to a specific CPA review course if you can. One CPA exam is made up of many undergraduate accounting courses. You won't need all of that detail for the exam.

I recently realized that all my tests in Advanced Financial I and II were from the AICPA questions. We did not cover as much material as FAR covers, but got deeper into minutiae.
