    Hey guys,

Do you think it would be advantageous to do the Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification after the CPA exam?

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Its a decent way to earn CPE credits if you're going to be out of pocket for CPE anyway.

If you do all the CPE and learn the software, it is invaluable. I can't tell you how many QB files I've come behind CPA's who don't understand how the software works and they've gotten the files in a mess.

I'm a Diamond level QB ProAdvisor. I teach classes at the local Chamber of Commerce, University, and at my CPA firm, both for internal training and for our clients. We've been able to get some of my classes to qualify for A&A CPE credits.

which I find hilarious as I'm not a CPA (yet) and CPA's at my firm take my class to get their CPE credits.

I'm certified in several years of Desktop, Desktop Enterprise Solutions, Point of Sale, QuickBooks Online and Advanced Desktop. It's given me an edge in my career.
