Hi, i need people’s opinion about my dilemma. I am confuse if i should take CFE or CMA. This is where i am right now with my career; i work in a firm that focuses in government audit & compliace. I don’t want to stay in public accounting and hoping to find a position in either government or private. I have my CPA but i want another certification that way i can have more option when i move out of public accounting. Please give me your opinion of which one is more beneficial. I like CFE a lot but i want to be smart with my choices because both exams are not cheap. Thank you all.

The CFE is not very useful unless you want to do forensic accounting.
