Come on what do you say? Went 4 for 4 on the CPA with your materials, would love something on the CFF..and there is basically nothing out there…

haha I swear CFF/ABV is it! Im going to clean up and get off the certification merrygoround…..I just need a couple more fixes and Ill be good!

I took and passed the CFF exam in November, 2014. The majority of my test preparation was done by completing the AICPA’s Fundamentals of Forensic Accounting Certificate Program which is a set of 19 self-study courses totaling 21.5 CPE credits. It gave me a general overview of the various subjects under the forensic accounting umbrella. I walked away from the test fairly confident that I had failed but got the e-mail two months later saying I had passed. The CPE credits count towards the 75 hour educational requirement to obtain the credential. The program costs $549 for AICPA members and $685 for non-members. I also believe that having previously studied for and passed the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) exam helped me out a lot because there is some overlap with the subject matter. I read and reviewed the Content Specification Outline (CSO) provided by the AICPA but did not obtain or read any of the other reference materials it recommends studying.

Thanks Box! I appreciate the heads up. I've thought about the CFE, maybe Ill get that one as a ramp up for the CFF. Due to recent demand, decided to hit the ABV first, but when I circle back to the CFF I will definitely take a look at all of that. I do love the letters but those annual fees are adding up…..I see you have a few yourself…
