Bump.
Anyone have experience with the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) certification from the AICPA?
It seems like it would be a good certification, but if you look on indeed.com for CITP, less than 60 jobs show up nationwide. The AICPA also charges over $300 a year for renewal in addition to your AICPA membership dues.
A better route for an IT certification might be the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) exam or the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam.
There are also a number of tech certifications including Security+ and Network+.
-Passed all four sections of CPA exam in 2010 using Becker.
-Former Seasonal Audit Senior with Big Four accounting firm.
-Plan to sit for Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
