    Hi all,

I am in the process of studying for the CIA exam. I was wondering if passing the CIA exam will count as CPE towards the CPA designation in California?

Also, I heard the first two parts are much easier than the third? Can anyone elaborate why the third is much harder? And what parts of the CPA exam, if any, over laps with the CIA exam parts?

    Thanks!

Any progress coming along with FAR? Hopefully, its going well for you.

So far I've been averaging around 75-80% on a set of 20 multiple choice questions in Gleim. Hopefully that will be enough to pass the exam. I scheduled mine for May 4th.

Great job! Glad to hear you passed. I ended up having to move my exam from the 2nd to the 17th because a family member passed away the week before my exam. I am just now starting to get back into reviewing. Hoping that all the time that went by doesn't effect my short term memory too much. Unfortunately, life happens and sometimes you just have to deal with the cards you are dealt.
