Hey Ninjas I am considering taking a state auditor position. I just recently passed the CPA. Would it be beneficial to get the CFE for this position and long term? What is your experience?

I work as a state auditor at the moment. Most people in my office have a CFE, although they don't get a raise for this certification. Unfortunately, about half my office gave up on passing the CPA exam, so the CFE is all they have. A few have a CPA, CFE and CGFM.

Someone told me the CFE is really easy, so I would definitely go ahead and take it. 🙂
