    Hello all,

Any word on CFA exam cost? I have passed the CPA using the Becker software and am now looking to study for the CFA exam. I am looking for a preparation material that is similar to Becker in which it shows you study progress and gives you stats and recommendation on what you need to focus on. A software that is easy to use, helps you plan and shows your progress.

    Any recommendation will be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    M.

Schweser is good. And I think you get the study books when you sign up for each part from the CFA institute

@colinmcl, Haha yeah, I was wondering if it was him when I heard his voice on the Youtube videos. Does Wiley have progress stats and planning assistance?

@cessnapilot30, thank you for the recommendation. I am considering that one as well. How are the instructors?

    Thanks,

    M.

I will be doing this next year assuming I passed FAR. All my CFA friends swear by Schweser.

I've heard Schweser is good for level 1, but for L2/L3 it's meh. If you're looking for a more of a traditional review course with lectures I'll probably go with Wiley. It's all read the book then do the problems. Aside from that, you should always use/mix the official material from the CFA for the problems with your third party study materials.

As someone debating what to do next, can I ask what you guys plan to do with your CFA?

Once I get my scores it’s time to evaluate my options, haven’t had time to think through that hard enough the past year
