Tried doing a search on here but didn’t find any lengthy threads to read so..

I’ve already read up on reqs of the ABV cert offered by aicpa, but I wanted to see if anyone does any work related to it. How are engagements different from audit? What are some things you enjoy/dislike of working with valuations?

also, has anyone had success in going from audit to valuation or to any consulting role? Currently, I see myself staying in assurance/audit, but wondering if it’d be feasible to make the jump without having targeted that path from the get go. I appreciate any insight. Thanks!
