If I was you, I would go to UT Dallas – just bc it is closer to large metro city or in a metro city. This means better access to firms in the area, other organizations like ASCEND, NABA, and ALPFA (for networking). I went to a school in Boston that that not attractive to Big4, but still being closer to the city – I had access to above mentioned organizations, networked the hell out of people to know them, and see if they were interested to ask me if I was thinking to apply. I got 2 offers from Big4 before I graduate, and one of them was in the city I did not go to school at nor I knew someone. I just connected randomly with a recruiter by taking a chance of calling office and got connected by a receptionist, and left that recruiter a VM – she called back and things picked up from there to get 2 interviews (internship, and FT) – succeeded in the FT interview.
All am trying to say is school matters, but not very much at all. There are people who went to bigger, and better schools than I went, but did not make it to Big4 before their graduation. For me it did not come easy to make it to Big4, but I enjoyed each and every bit of my networking process during my time in school – I got to learn a lot from directly asking for a job, burning a bridge (was a rookie in networking aspect) to impressing people, and being nice, humble, and persistent with this process.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
