Has anyone on here ever purchased/rented an e-book to use in a college course? If so, what did you think pros/cons of using a digital book versus a physical copy? Would you do it again?

Yes! I found a website that will let you purchase by the chapter (I think it was echapters.com). Which worked well because the textbook for that course was 31 chapters of which we only used 8. I think I spent under $40 for all 8 chapters as opposed to $200+ for the entire book.
