Hi,
Here’s the problem. I completed the exam, but I didn’t finish the 150 credit requirements.
I am planning to go back to school to take a MS in Management (an online program), but I can’t tell if those classes go towards the 150 credit requirements!
I was told by NASBA that “To meet the license requirement you would need to complete 19 semester hours in which 3 of those hours are to be in Accounting.”
I am not sure if those 19 credits needs to be business or general credits, but I think I will go back to for a business to be safe!
Anyone knows if the following classes will be consider business class? Or should I just assume classes in business degree are business?
BUS 600 – Organizational Behavior and Leadership
BUS 630 – Business Law and Ethics in the Digital Age
BUS 640 – Accounting for Business Decisions
BUS 650 – Knowledge and Information Systems
BUS 660 – Corporate and International Finance
BUS 670 – Quantitative Decision-Making
BUS 680 – Economics for Business Decisions
Capstone – students must select one of the following four capstone courses:
BUS 696 – Global Virtual Enterprise
BUS 697 – Global Strategic Management
BUS 698 – Applied Business Research
BUS 699 – Thesis
BUS 605 – Leadership Development
BUS 608 – Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
BUS 610 – Strategic Marketing and Socially Responsible Practices
BUS 617 – Workplace Values and Happiness
BUS 620 – Entrepreneurship in a Global Environment
BUS 626 – Current Issues in Global Business
BUS 633 – Managing Diversity in a Global Economy
BUS 644 – Audit Controls and Accounting Failures
BUS 655 – New Media and Electronic Commerce
BUS 685 – Risk Management
PROM 600 – Fundamentals of Project Management
Also, the board told me I will have to pay for license in order for them to evaluate my classes. If I won’t finish this degree in 3 years but I pay now, are they going to keep my profile open?
Thank you everyone!
