Hi,
So I just got sworn in as a CPA. I am currently transitioning to a very well paying job that has nothing to do with my CPA. I was picked up solely because I have a master’s degree in business (accounting). I do plan to maintain my CPA and do some tax work on the side while I work at my primary job. For anyone else that may be in this situation, what is the best method to maintain CPE when your employer does not pay for it?
I’ve received multiple offers to sign-up for Surgent CPE. I am also looking into the AICPA Express service. I am just wondering if anyone has some advice on what the best and most cost-effective way of maintaining CPE is when you have to pay out of pocket. Any advice would be of great help.
