So after the CPA and CMA, what is the next most highly regarded accounting certification? CIA?

I think getting a certification in the specific industry you want to work in would be a good idea as well.

    Jenuno,

You're studying for another credential already?? Cot damn! Impressive

I ordered the CA Ethics exam a couple days ago and the text and answer sheet files haven't been opened yet LOL

I also have to re-take a drivers exam for a new license (scored a 90 on the pre-test) Should I read the text? It's ~90 pages.

Japanese CPA license. Not only is it in Japanese, it's harder than the AICPA test.

What no CTP? There are more CIA's than CMA's, and I think it is slightly more recognized. Although I think the CMA is more of general business type certification, a cheap MBA so to say. CISA is a good one too, but you need the IT audit experience to get it.
