I am currently a CPA and it’s only been a year. I am also a federal employee and it is pretty slow now so I am thinking about taking earning another certification/license to “kill time” and at least learn something in the process. I haven’t heard too much about becoming a CMA and was wondering what you all thought. Essentially, is it worth it? What has been said about becoming one and would it further my career? Especially since I realized I do not enjoy working in public accounting at all anymore. Any thoughts or comments is highly appreciated!!
