I realize it may seem silly to post this on a cpa exam forum but I was wondering if there was any merit to opting for an EA designation instead. Thoughts?

I'm just kidding by the way. I don't know how long it takes to become an EA. After the CPA has been kicking my behind for more than 15 months, I respect every single designation out there. Even if you study to become a Realtor.

I volunteered as a tax preparer this tax season and I enjoyed. Would having a EA be good to have if I want to work for a cpa firm doing taxes next year or should I just keep grinding to pass FAR?
