I passed my exam and now enrolled in grad school to meet my 150 requirement. After all 4 sections, I was trying to go the easy route and get a general MBA. Now that I’m in the classes, I figured I’d make the most of my time and concentrate in something worth while. I am currently concentrating in Business Analytics:
Business Analytics (BA) refers to using statistical and other analytical tools to leverage data to measure performance, improve business processes, and optimize business decision-making. BA can be applied to an organization as a whole, or to specific projects, processes, or products. BA knowledge and skills are increasingly in demand by potential employers of our graduates.

I’m wondering if I should switch to Finance because I want to start investing in stocks in my personal life and this track would give me insight, in addition to preparing me for a CFO role later.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

The BA is a smart concentration. I would stick with this concentration, but also take a few finance courses since you are interested in this. You can accomplish both tasks in a time-efficient manner and learn a lot during both. I am currently studying for my CPA (after gaining my MBA) with UWorld Roger CPA Exam, and feel that a BA can really help with a better understanding of the audit cycle as a whole, and also enhancing the automation of auditing.
