    Hi all,

I am applying to jobs, as my license is in process can’t write CPA but want to write passed all four exams. Should I include education section (included successfully passed all four exams) on top or bottom of the resume. As recruiters see resume only for 15 seconds how I can catch their eye to look at my resume. I am struggling with job search now from three months after passing my exams no potential call at all. Thanks.

Shawn7 What city you applying for jobs in?

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

I would put it underneath my name and address at the top and in the education section after degree info in my resume so it would catch someone's eye when scanning and put “CPA” in front of exam so that it will be caught by any automated scanning. In an online application, find a spot to put it in other than the licence section…awards/achievements or skills sections.

    Florida:
AUD: 73, 81! Thank you Lord!
BEC: 73, 77! Thank you Lord! and WTB
REG: 71, 82! Thank you Lord! and A71
FAR: 72, 78! Thank you God and my Mommy in Heaven!

Yes and 10, 11, or 12 point size (depending on how much detail) is good to make everything fit on one page.

    Florida:
AUD: 73, 81! Thank you Lord!
BEC: 73, 77! Thank you Lord! and WTB
REG: 71, 82! Thank you Lord! and A71
FAR: 72, 78! Thank you God and my Mommy in Heaven!

The reason why I ask is that I am going to be in your shoes in a few months. CPA exams passed looking for work. I am in the San Francisco area. I am trying to decide if I should enroll in a masters of taxation or have faith that i can find a job with the CPA alone.

Study Monk, if you plan on getting MST anyway, enroll while looking and use the career center to get access to more companies…
