    I might…

    am I currently unemployed?
    do I have other offers?
    what were the deficiencies?
Does the firm have a plan to correct the deficiencies?

are all things I would evaluate and consider before accepting an offer from said firm

    BEC - 8/8/16
    REG - 66, 77
    AUD - 81
    FAR - 9/8/16

We would like you to help us rise above these deficiencies is a huge difference from we want you to join us in our pigpen. It's all about their perspective, your empowerment, and ability to make a difference.

I'd run for the hills from the latter but give the former consideration based on favorable terms.
