I have been looking for work unsuccessfully since January of this year. I think the biggest reason why I haven’t gotten any job offers is because I am just way too laid back. I am not aggressive at pursuing anything at all. I know people say you need to send out a hundred resumes. I have sent out maybe 20-25 max.
So I don’t think I am going to have much luck job hunting on my own, and I have decided to go through a recruiter. I didn’t do so previously because I am just afraid to get stuck doing various temp jobs forever that never lead into anything permanent. I need to do something though, so I am going to suck it up and do temp jobs for the experience at least to add to my resume. Is it likely that I would be stuck doing temp jobs for a long time before getting a permanent offer?
