I have one year of experience at a mid-tier firm and I am not really interested in any of the industries they have me working in. I have my CPA. I am thinking of switching, possibly into internal audit or to a staff accountant role. I have considered going big 4, but it just sounds unappealing because it is so similar to my job now. I don’t want to travel. What should I do? Is it a bad move to leave public after one year? I am really unhappy. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you 🙂
