Hey guys,
I got a part-time job at a small bookkeeping and tax service firm in New York once I graduate in May.
Unfortunately, they’re not CPA’s so the experience would not count toward the 1 year work requirement for the license. I have not done an internship or anything accounting related yet.
Question is, should I still take the job and use it as a resume builder while I also use the money to pay off my loans/cpa review expenses? (I plan to study for the exam starting this summer)
I was thinking if I pass the CPA exam first, then it would be easier to find a CPA firm and then I’d easily get the work experience after that.
