For me, the number one reason is because it is a personal goal. Getting the license is a very big deal for me. Secondly, I think I want to have my own accounting business one day, if I’m brave enough to do it. 🙂 And last, If I stay with the big 4, I’ll need the license to be promoted to manager, which will take me about 4.5 years to get to that point.

I don't think a CPA license gets you any girls unless you're driving a 60k+ car and have a six pack.

For me the CPA Exam is just something I've dreamt of since I was 3 yrs old.

If I won the lotto, I would still take the CPA Exam, but would feel way less pressure since I live with a constant fear of my boss saying “YOU ARE FIRED”..lol
