Hello all,

I’m in a unique situation. I’m a Canadian citizen studying the US CPA in Vancouver. Yesterday I had an interview with a medium sized accounting company called MNP. After the interview, I was told to come in next week to meet with the US tax team. I haven’t been told that I have been accepted, so then why Am I meeting with the team? The interviewer said it would be a meet-and-greet but what are they looking for in me when I meet this team?

Probably because they want to introduce you to your new team?

Don't think they'll be inviting you over to meet the team if you weren't going to get hired.

This next round is to see how well you will or won't fit in with the people you'll actually be working with. If the team thinks you are tolerable and like you more than the other candidates, you'll be made an offer. Consider this meet & greet as another interview.
