    Congrats!!

    1. First, go to LinkedIn, and put your profile up there with CPA exams things. Usually LinkedIn is not the first place for entry level job seekers as recruiters want to find experienced resources from LinkedIn. But as you expand your network in LinkedIn, you will get contacts from recruiters.

    2. When I did job searching, I ended up getting a job from the school recruiting. Recruiters came to our MBA program, and held info session, and hired interns. If you are student, then you can find some school event, and contact with recruiters.

    3. Go to CareerBuilder.com or Monster.com to find a job.

    Currently:
    CPA - Class of 2013
    ALMI (Associate, Life Management Institute)
CISA - Passed in 2011, Certified in 2014

    In Progress:
ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) - EXAM P (O), EXAM FM (O), EXAM MFE (X), EXAM MLC (X), EXAM C (X)

Now that we have passed, what it the appropriate way to advertise passing the CPA? Im lacking the necessary hours, but have passed the exams.. The last thing I want to do is jeopardize my standing because of improper language on my resume…

Another website I like is indeed.com. I used that a lot when I was looking for jobs because it pulls in jobs from different job websites and puts them all in one place.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

@jpat1980 – I've heard just mentioning that you passed the exam in the qualifications section would be sufficient

@ruggercpa2b – thanks for the info, i'll take a look at it

Network and ask alumni at school if there are any openings in the CPA firms that they work at.

Input into your tag line that you passed the CPA exam. Not in your summary. Put in your tag line “Student with CPA Exam Completed and awaiting Licensure”. Or something similar. Should make much more of an impact that way.
