Background Information: I start full time in January with a Big 4 firm. This week i have a call with current employees and all new hires that will be starting in my line of service.

During the call we have an opportunity for a Q&A. Wondering what questions you would ask if you are new to public accounting/big 4? Thanks for the input.

I'd ask simple questions, but good ones. You don't want to try and steal the platform/show off, in my opinion. Not sure if you're in tax or audit, but maybe ask how many projects will you be working on at a given time … Do NOT ask about hours and how many are expected of you. What's the average “team” size on a given audit … What size (revenue) clients do entry level accountants work on … How much long distance travel should be expected … I wouldn't get into the nitty gritty, just birds eye perspectives on what you should expect in the first year.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.
