What is the best way to get one year experience

    Hello Everyone,

    I am currently studying for the FAR exam, scheduled for Mar 9th. I am a real estate sales agent and although I have an accounting degree from 1994, I never worked in Public Accounting. How do I go about getting my one year of experience to become a CPA. I plan on passing all 4 exams in 6-7 months.

    Go to your state's regulatory body. Check out what their rules are…the experience reqs can vary slightly. Get a job doing that. Work a year.
