what does percentage of travel mean? [big 4 Bar Area}

    Hello All

    My job description is says travel 0-20%. Does it mean i will be on the road 20% of the time?

    No, don't pay any attention to that. I got my job 3 years ago and they asked me if I was open to travel. I have worked here for 3 years. They just want to know if your flexible moving around.

    Then again you said that this is with a Big 4? Then yes you will be traveling. Big 4, over worked, under sexed.

    Big4 Bay Area, very little travel (most likely).

    With my Big4, the vast majority of our clients are local, however its possible to end up on clients in far flung areas (north bay, south bay, etc). Vast majority of people work in town, but not a whole lot of flexibility if you get put on something far away (that said, I live far from the office, and they put me on something far from the office in the opposite direction, so it was DOUBLY far for me, and I was able to get off of the engagement)
