What Catagory of Accounting Does Revenue Accounting Fall Under?

    I recently applied for a Revenue Accountant position and I am wondering what category of accounting it falls under. Financial Reporting, General Accounting, etc. I am looking at the 2015 Robert Half Salary Guide to see what type of salary should be expected for this position.

    WannaBeCPATX16 – The only category you should be worry about the position is the “How much more $$$ will be in my wallet” category.

    @@Skynet that's precisely why I'm asking. Financial Reporting > General Accounting. But the company is O&G so I'm sure it'll be more moneys other way.
