Using CPA, Accounting degree, Accounting knowledge to volunteer, what can I do?

    I really wanna start volunteering, what are some things I can do with accounting? any ideas?

    You can go to any non-profit you like/believe in and offer your services. I did the bookkeeping for a really small non-profit that works to save endangered wild cats. Ultimately i had to stop because they grew and needed me for more hours than I had time for, but I loved every minute of it.

    I have a fledgling tax business that I would like to grow to include bookkeeping….you can volunteer for me! 😀

    You might want to google indigent tax preparation and your area's name. You can maybe do that.

    Find a non-profit that you're passionate about and ask to join their finance team/committee.

    Go to your local United Way chapter and volunteer with the VITA program.

    What bighitter says, Vita is good for tax and it is seasonal. Definitely a rewarding experience.
