Traffic Tickets and Accounting jobs

    Hi everyone. I am working towards a CPA license and getting accounting jobs. Would one four point traffic ticket for improper passing pose a problem in getting an accounting job or getting CPA license? It’s been over a year since the ticket. Would this pose a barrier to my career?

    NASBA & AICPA care about felonies. That said, just pay it.

    Did you run anyone over with your car?

    If not, then you're ok.

    Or if you did, make sure there weren't any witnesses.

    There are a number of CPAs with DUIs that do just fine. I'm sure they won't even bother to look at your driving record (unless travel is a part of your position) =)
